Dr. Beritah Kalunde Mutiso is a multidisciplinary scholar, educator, and global change agent from Kangundo in Machakos County, Kenya. She is a former District Education Coordinator in AIC Naivasha District, Nakuru County, Kenya, where she headed the education department for over ten years. Before venturing into her current educational initiatives, she began her community development work by providing food supplies to elderly women in her village, building on an early commitment to supporting vulnerable community members. Alongside her career in education, she directs development initiatives as the founder of an organization providing critical educational resources to poor, rural schools in Kenya. Her commitment to global advocacy extends to her role as the co-founder of two additional organizations serving rural Kenyans, focusing on community development and good governance.
She approaches leadership from a holistic, global framework, backed by a rich academic foundation. Dr. Mutiso holds a Doctorate in Leadership, a Master of Arts in Human Services (focusing on Health and Wellness with a minor in Counseling), a Master of Education in Advanced Secondary Teaching, and a Master of Arts in Religious Studies. Her extensive expertise is further complemented by professional certificates in Community Development and Grief Counseling, allowing her to bridge classroom leadership with global grassroots transformation.
