Dr. Philliph Masila Mutisya, Ed.D., is an Adjunct at North Carolina Central University (NCCU), where he returned in 2026 after retiring in 2024. He previously served as Full Professor of Education and Coordinator of Educational Technology in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the School of Education. With over 37 years of experience in higher education, his work focuses on instructional leadership, curriculum development, educational technology, and professional development across K-20 education.
Dr. Mutisya holds a Doctorate in Instructional Leadership with a concentration in Curriculum Development in Multicultural and Bilingual Education, and a Master's degree in International Education and Training. His research and practice span multicultural education, critical pedagogy, educational entrepreneurship, and global education.
Dr. Mutisya has also been instrumental in developing global partnerships, including collaborations between academic institutions and international organizations to advance peacebuilding and research innovation in higher education.
